Location: SALERNO, Italy 200 sqm 2013
Client: Private Client
Type: Residential

Inspired by warm, bright colors and simple volumes of traditional rural architecture in the south of Italy, Area-17 designed a 130 square-meter private apartment in Salerno, just east of the splendid Amalfi Coast.

Warm gray and off-white shades describe a minimalist environment of laid-back charm, enhanced by a few carefully selected colorful details. Rooms follow each other without interruption, connected by wide openings, mobile partitions, and transparent walls. The dazzling Mediterranean light flows freely through the apartment, softened only by impalpable white sheers, and becomes the real protagonist of the architectural space.
