Area-17 designed a precious gallery that connects the three Shui Wan 1979 residential towers to each other and to luxuriant urban parks surrounding the area. Copper glares from the ceiling beam across the space. Deliberately bare, it is furnished only with custom-made seats playing with the contrast between the rigorous volume in corian and the unevenly soft outline of plants.

The walkway allows people to reach the three refined lobbies as well as services and other activities. Dark inlays enhance the directions, cutting the floor according to a precise scheme that reflects the ceilings’ geometry.
The line is the undisputed protagonist of the space: from rose gold steel slats to glowing fissures, from metal inlays in the walls to vectors in the flooring. It is the central idea of a storytelling that is revealed through different materials and finishes. The ceiling of the main gallery draws inspiration from origami’s geometric shapes and dynamic movement, giving back an architectural interpretation of it.
