The new important intervention by Citic Group is a residential complex of 1000 apartments and villas on the route connecting Shenzen to Dongguan. Area-17 designed the interiors of the showroom-villa and apartments, as well as the sale center.
Officine Panerai opened a new boutique in the trendiest and most dynamic Asian fashion capital, Seul. Area-17 oversaw the construction works for the boutique acting as the project manager for the famous luxury Italian brand.
On April 2016, the first Dispensa Emilia restaurant designed by Area-17 opened in an exceptional location: Il Centro, a brand new shopping mall built on the area of the former Alfa Romeo factory and one of the biggest malls in Europe.
Area-17 designed the Jardín Yanuncay residential building for Ejeproy Developer in Cuenca, Ecuador. The almost 3'000 square-meter complex includes fifteen architectural units, specifically: six apartments, one penthouse, eight independent two or three-storey townhouses.

The Jacob Cohen House in Milan occupies 1'500 square meters of the former Richard Ginori factory with the brand’s new showroom and offices. The architectural space is meant to be a multifunctional and dynamic container, satisfying the firm’s needs but also fostering new experimental actions.

After three years in Bridge 8, Area-17 Shanghai moved to the back of the Tianzifang traditional area, into an early 19th century style building. The design of the new office seeks to create a calm and comfortable atmosphere, highlighted by the use of neutral colors and natural materials.
