Inspired by “bar life”, the Mark Fairwhale Jeans store features a mix of different elements that evoke a bistrò atmosphere: wooden boiserie, leather upholstery with capitonnè decoration, and feature walls made of bottles, bar lightenings.

Villa Rita is a charming three story house in the historic downtown area of Cuenca, completely renovated by Area-17. The allure of the building remains intact thanks to a design in which the new and the old coexist in a harmonious and placid way.

This 250 sqm three-storey apartment belongs to an important Indian family. The owner was not satisfied by the original layout and asked Area-17 for a more comfortable and modern space, airy and bright.

Designed by Area-17 to make the most of the modest proportions, this urban interior has a cozy and nonchalant appeal. The almost industrial atmosphere is warmed up by thoughtfully placed oriental accents. Textures and neutral colors create dynamic interrelations among the clean surfaces of the walls, ceilings, and roof.
