Located in the heart of the French Riviera’s vibrant life, Your’s Boutique is an elegant and glamorous setting for an exclusive shopping experience. The retail space is organized as a residential palace, where the domestic appeal of relaxed luxury puts the upscale clientele at ease.
The second Cruciani boutique by Area-17 scales down the original design used in Times Square to meet the new location’s spatial and display objectives.
In 2011 Luca Caprai created the first Cruciani lace bracelet, which has since become a pop icon in the contemporary luxury fashion market. His creations are inspired by the renowned private textile collection of his father, Arnaldo Caprai. When asked to design the new concept for the Asia-Pacific market, Area-17 drew inspiration from the idea of exhibiting a piece of Pop Art in a museum and designed a contemporary gallery like store, where exquisite masterpieces of “Made in Italy” are displayed.
When tasked with the redesign of the Dunnu store in Shanghai, Area-17 understood the many and varied qualities of the brand’s clientele and worked to incorporate them into the design.
Leading Italian furniture manufacturer Chateau d’Ax selected Area-17 to rethink its sale spaces for both the European and Asian markets. This led to the design of fifteen showrooms located throughout the world in renowned European and Chinese cities, among which is the showroom in Shanghai.

The Cocoon Boutique is located inside the Global Harbor Mall, in one of Shanghai’s top shopping areas, where tourists and residents crowd into stores at all hours of the day. The brand’s very name gave Area-17 the creative hint to design the concept: a cocoon is a casing protecting the pupa before it becomes a butterfly.
Area-17 rethought the store design of Milano&Design, one of the brands of the Chateau d’Ax Group. The 350 square-meters showroom in Shanghai was designed to recreate the warmth and comfort of a classy, homelike environment.
While rethinking Satchi ‘s retail image, Area-17 also designed a temporary store for the brand. The location and the type of store demanded for a different approach, which could guarantee a strong and instantly noticeable identity in order to capture passersby’s attention.
