In 2015, the famous Italian fashion brand Ermanno Scervino opened its first boutique in China at the David Plaza, the ultimate luxury shopping mall in Zhengzhou. Area-17 acted as Scervino’s project manager and oversaw the project’s realization.

In 2011 Luca Caprai created the first Cruciani lace bracelet, which has since become a pop icon in the contemporary luxury fashion market. When asked to design the new concept for the Asia-Pacific market, Area-17 drew inspiration from the idea of exhibiting a piece of Pop Art in a museum and designed a contemporary gallery like store, where exquisite masterpieces of “Made in Italy” are displayed.
When tasked with the redesign of the Dunnu store in Shanghai, Area-17 understood the many and varied qualities of the brand’s clientele and worked to incorporate them into the design.
