Golden Goose pop up store opened inside the Haitang Bay Duty Free Shopping Complex in Sanya, China. A minimalistic box with an industrial flair, its aesthetic hints to shipment boxes containing something the receiver has long wished for.

Developing the original concept, Area-17 oversaw the pop-up realization. Golden Goose, an Italian high fashion sneaker brand, is the creation of two young designers who were both outsiders of the fashion industry at the beginning. Founded in 2000 in Venice, the brand combines a refined and modern style with a vintage feeling that is supported by the strong Italian sartorial tradition. Drawing upon an enthusiastic market response, Golden Goose is currently expanding its presence worldwide.

FiorFiore is Coop’s premium private label, featuring the finest traditional products from Italian and worldwide food culture. FiorFiore Concept Store is meant to be a food boutique, where the high quality of design, materials, and skilled craftsmanship are metaphors for the excellence of the products on sale.

The fresh-looking yet refined environment of Tamarind Indian restaurant shines through subtle hints to its cuisine homeland. Area-17 designed a space where bright colors and glass surfaces decorated with motifs reminiscent of tamarind flowers are understated references to the Indian imaginary.
