Description
Designed by Area-17 Architecture & Interiors for a womens' healthcare specialist, this private clinic in Hong Kong’s Central district is a well-matched combination of designer furniture, premium finishes, and original artworks.
Materials’ texture and visual patterns play a primary role in defining the space and producing a welcoming environment. White marble veins on the entrance walls and reception counter contrast with the warm wood grain of the inner corridor, while the grooved wall panels in the offices make the design features and artwork stand out. The perception is that of a clean and relaxed space, where a minimalistic design makes for a perfect background to bolder features and elements.
The furniture selection spans from custom-made seating to iconic designs by Cassina, Arper and Poltrona Frau, arranged over a bespoke floor composition of Studio Triangular tiles by Bolon. The two main offices are complemented with stylish suspension lighting by Baxter and colourful oil paintings by the renowned Italian artist Sofia Figlié.
