Area-17 designed a captivating 100 sqm pop up store for Asian luxury brand Shanghai Tang in SKP, one of the largest high-end shopping mall in Beijing.
Klasse 14 has officially landed in Hong Kong with its one-of-a-kind flagship store designed by Area-17 Architecture & Interiors. Drawing inspiration from a rarefied, ideal museum, the retail space recreates the “ordinarily unique” experience that is the brand’s core value.
The new Jacob Cohen boutique opened in Milan in via della Spiga, at the very heart of the Fashion Quad. The new store is spread over 200 sqm and over two storeys, where Area-17 combined the richness of details to neat geometries of linear elements and surfaces, according to a color palette which deftly mixes deep blue, gold, and neutral shades of beige and browns, giving that sense of preciousness and laid-back elegance that has always been the brand’s hallmark.

The new flagship store in Shanghai strengthen Calvin Klein positioning in the global fashion market. It represents the brand's commitment to a strong consumer experience. Together with the Düsseldorf store, it is the first worldwide materialization of the innovative concept developed by Raf Simon, the brand’s new creative director.
Area-17 oversaw the project management for the first Gold LEED Certified Panerai boutique. LEED is an internationally recognized green building certification concerning the whole building life-cycle, from design to materials to construction work.
Jacob Cohen opened its newest boutique inside Ginza Six in Tokyo, a mixed-use complex with 47'000 sqm of retail space featuring high-end boutiques targeting both foreign tourists and domestic customers.
