Inside Greenhills Villa, a balanced mix of classical and modern style effortlessly brings to life a feeling of old European sophistication, made of refined details and precious materials. In a space of 600 square meters spread over 4 floors, Area-17 has designed a residence that is truly a "home" for the family who lives in it, where representative spaces alternate with spaces for the family following the common thread of an airy central staircase that connects the different levels with their designated functions.

The double-height lounge on the main floor is illuminated by a cascade of light that enters through 6-meter-high windows. A few carefully selected furniture items fill the environment with their fine-tuned shapes and textures. The warm shades of an almost neutral palette convey a general idea of comfort and intimacy while fostering the perception of a seamless space.

A large balcony overlooks the living area, filtered by a wrought iron balustrade characterizing the entire stairwell as a light and diaphanous interpretation of a traditional decorative piece. Both on the ground floor and upper levels, family rooms establish a direct connection with the outside through wide windows opening directly onto the garden and its surroundings.

Wood, marble and stone surfaces, mosaics, each material has been selected from the best international suppliers, with special attention to the performance of the product in terms of creating a healthy environment for the inhabitants of the house. Furniture and lighting fixtures are from Italian, French, Spanish and British manufactures. Each piece of decor, from paintings to sculptures has come from an antiquity market and adds a piece of its own story to the narrative of this residence.

Overlook the majestic Shanghai Tower, the CBS R&D Shanghai Office is crafted to ensure that every employee can savor the stunning vistas. The office's design emphasizes transparency with partitions that don't reach the ceiling, fostering an expansive atmosphere and a sense of unity, as if everyone shares the same continuous space. Upon entry, visitors are greeted by a robust, iconic Monte Verde marble reception desk, crowned with an impressive lighting grid that draws the eye towards the breathtaking backdrop.

Rossignol's century-old competitive skiing spirit is unmistakable at "Shanghai Ski World," the world's largest indoor skiing resort.

The store is strategically located right at the entrance to the ski slope, featuring Rossignol's distinctive retail design. Technical details, Alpine stones, and large, emotive graphics immediately immerse customers in the excitement of snow sports.

The store offers a top-notch selection of the brand's technical equipment, garments, and accessories, ensuring visitors are well-prepared for their skiing adventures.

Rossignol's new store in Changbaishan is a natural and essential addition, reinforcing the brand's presence in the world's most renowned ski destinations.

The interiors creatively reinterpret natural mountain materials and technical details of high-altitude structures, immersing visitors in a mountain atmosphere. Iconic red accents enhance the futuristic design, reinforcing a distinct brand environment.

The store's design seamlessly combines fashion aesthetics with high-performance elements, perfectly embodying Rossignol's unique approach to sport and style.

In 2023, Unicoop Firenze celebrates its 50-year history with an exhibition -event at the Stazione Leopolda in Florence. Area-17 designs the multifunctional space centered around the exhibit "50 years of Unicoop Firenze: A Story of People" curated by Giulio Iacchetti, which retraces the evolution of the Tuscan cooperative from its origins to the present day.

During the construction work for the new flagship store inside the Taikoo Li shopping center in Beijing, Golden Goose opened a pop-up store inspired by the idea of journey. Area-17 Architecture & Interiors oversaw the project management of this unique temporary venues, which is part of the brand’s worldwide expansion with unconventional and refined design.

An iconic façade raising the brand’s profile identifies the new Golden Goose phygital concept space in Beijing, within Chaoyang District. The design leading idea is to foster an innovative and immersive shopping experience: once the customers enter the flagship store, they find themselves inside the Lab, where it is possible to customize a product with last-mile options. The industrial flair hints to a typical workshop environment where to experience the creative process first-hand.  A photo booth then invites to share the results on social media.
