Location: COLOGNE, Germany 182 sqm 2017
Client: Cavalleria Toscana SPA
Type: Exhibition

A neat, essential language is the hallmark of the stand designed by Area-17 Architecture & Interiors for Cavalleria Toscana at Spoga Horse 2017, the leading international trade fair for equestrian sports.

The booth is the first interpretation of the brand’s new concept developed by Area-17. The guiding principles are: enhancing Cavalleria Toscana’s products and their transversal use; focusing on spaces of interaction with clients; creating a strong and distinctive identity that represents the brand within a new extended market.
Icon of simple, refined taste and timeless elegance, a deep black shade dresses the environments as the ideal background to the display. The minimalistic volume of the exteriors opens into an exhibition gallery, where the directional lightning fixtures highlight the musealization of products. From here, a filter reception area allows to enter a more intimate environment designed for business occasions and informal relaxation.
Technical elements and materials, such as polycarbonate walls, lacquered iron displayers, industrial lighting fixtures, alternate to soft leather upholstered furniture. The contrast accents even more the welcoming appealing of relational spaces. Throughout the stand, the exhibit is supported by a visual narration, aiming to integrate the display with the commercial communication of products. The whole furnishing is custom-made, based on Area-17 designs.

The partnership between Area-17 Architecture & Interiors and Iris Ceramica Group continues with a renovation work that combines distinctive features of contemporary design with a great respect for what the brand means for its surroundings and the people living there. The refurbishment of the historic Iris Ceramica headquarters arises from two main needs: integrating the original building from the ’60s with the brand-new showroom’s volumes, and remodeling the interiors, which underwent a change in functions over the past decades. It also states the choice to consolidate a weighty brand identity and return it to employees and clients with a new, stronger visual image.

MILAN, Italy 210 sqm 2018

The new Jacob Cohen boutique opened in Milan in via della Spiga, at the very heart of the Fashion Quad. The new store is spread over 200 sqm and over two storeys, where Area-17 combined the richness of details to neat geometries of linear elements and surfaces, according to a color palette which deftly mixes deep blue, gold, and neutral shades of beige and browns, giving that sense of preciousness and laid-back elegance that has always been the brand’s hallmark.
