Area-17 and INRES’s project Cinoforum won a Certificate of Merit in the Services category at the CNCC Awards 2016, the prestigious award by the Italian Consiglio Nazionale dei Centri Commerciali. Cinoforum is a concept that aims to foster the relationship between human and animal. Its first realization was outside Unicoop Firenze’s Centro Commerciale Montecatini.
When the Moscoso family bought the Palacio de Cristal in 1995 it was almost in ruins. They then started the transformation process that eventually would restore it to its former splendor. It took years of patient and caring work by Gustavo Moscoso and his sister May, supported by Area-17’s Enrico Tomidei, a team of artisan restorers and local craftsmen to fulfill the vision conceived by the Moscosos and to gather a refined selection of unique pieces of furniture, chosen with the help of interior decorator Julio Vinueza.

MareMà is a shopping mall designed by Area-17 and INRES within Parco Commerciale Grosseto, a significant intervention of urban renovation of the area north of Grosseto.
Modena is the new lamp designed by Area-17 for Martinelli Luce, historical Italian design brand.
Area-17 oversaw the development and project management of the first international restaurant owned by Michelin-starred chef Björn Frantzén. From Stockholm, in Hong Kong he presents his minimal cuisine born from the fusion of Western and Eastern culinary tradition.
Area-17 and INRES took part in the requalification of the R-Nord building redesigning the gallery located on the ground floor, both architecturally and commercially. The renovation of the complex began a few years ago by the Comune di Modena through CambiaMo.
